Those Damn, Bucket Boys Are EVERYWHERE

*picture downloaded from an online site*

Somewhere, somebody must have given the young guys in our neighborhoods, a sale on drumsticks and mop buckets.  Why have our Chicagoland streets become infested with these young and obviously talented black teens?  They are on these corners all day long banging on those damn buckets.  Why aren't they in school?  What can society do to at least place them in a performing arts school or something?  My loose change I keep in my cup holder in my car is for the Venti Pike Place Roast coffee I order at Starbucks on a broke day, and not for those guys coming up to my car begging for my change.  I feel two different ways about what they are doing: (1) I CAN'T STAND IT and (2) welp, it's keeping them out of gangs and committing crimes that will put them in our judicial system forever.

Yes, I'm okay with seeing them every now and then but not at almost every light I come too.  Why aren't they ever at the places that you need entertainment while stuck in traffic, like at train tracks?  They are housed at a 20 second stop light, perform for two seconds and expect you to give them a HUGE tip for throwing a stick in the air and catching it......SMDH!!!!  I'm no politician but SOMETHING needs to be done about this ASAP.

87th and the Dan Ryan is the WORST place to be.  It's about 10-15 of the bucket boys out there at one time.  My question is, where is this money going?  Their little asses need to pay taxes on that money too and be required to have a license to stand out there all day.  I'm just saying!!!!

People this is what the streets of Chicago have come to (see video below)........ HELP!!!!!

  1. AGREED! The problem is the people that continue to pay them. If people stopped giving them money, they'd realize that it's not worth spending their time doing in the first place.
